School Counsellors

The Entrance Campus offers onsite access to a School Counsellor five days a week, providing students with confidential support in a caring and safe environment.

Students can be referred by the wellbeing team if they are facing challenges such as grief, relationship difficulties, isolation, or unhelpful thoughts.

Thrive Hub

Our campus is proud to have support dogs who help students feel calm and supported throughout the school day. Guided by their handlers, students can interact with the dogs through gentle patting, talking, or simply spending time with them, providing comfort and helping to ease stress and anxiety.

Aboriginal Education

We support the cultural, social, emotional, and academic success of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Programs include SistaSpeak, mentoring through personalised learning pathways, Clontarf Academy, Aboriginal Studies courses and cultural site visits, NRL School to Work Program, cultural workshops, and participation in GulangFest, NAIDOC Week activities, Reconciliation assemblies, and the Yarning Circle/native garden initiatives. Dedicated spaces such as the Aboriginal Student Resource Room, Clontarf Academy Room, Bush Tucker Garden, and Yarning Circles enhance learning, wellbeing, cultural safety and building relationships.

Strong partnerships with families, the local Kuriwa AECG, universities, and TAFE help foster identity, leadership, and pathways to further study and employment. During Term Three The Entrance Campus holds its Clontarf Awards Evening and Mirgan Awards Ceremony as a celebration of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, their achievements and contributions to our school community.
