Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with families, local businesses, and the wider community. Together, we create opportunities for learning, leadership, and making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
Parent and carer involvement
Parents and carers can get involved through our Parent Advisory Group Meetings or by volunteering at school as an HSC reader/writer. Your time and support help make our school a stronger, more connected place for everyone.
Parent advisory group
Our parent advisory group meetings bring together parents, carers and school leaders to share ideas, provide feedback and contribute to school planning and improvement. These meetings are a fantastic way to stay informed, connect with other families and help shape the future of our school.
Get involved! We welcome all parents and carers to share their voice and join us at our next meeting. Meetings are held once a term. Details are shared via our social media channels, or you can contact us directly to confirm the next meeting date.
Student involvement
Our students actively engage with the community, developing leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility. They contribute in many ways, including:
- partnering with local businesses for SBATs, work experience, and mentoring opportunities
- supporting local feeder primary schools through science outreach programs and by assisting with sports carnivals, colour runs, and refereeing games
- participating in Duke of Edinburgh community projects
- organising fundraising events for charities and volunteering at Bunnings barbecues
- honouring traditions through ANZAC Day wreath laying and delivering community presentations
We warmly welcome local businesses and organisations interested in partnering with our students to provide meaningful learning experiences and give back to the community.
“By engaging with the community, our students grow into responsible, compassionate, and confident young people ready to make a difference.”
