SistaSpeak is an Aboriginal girl's well-being program designed to be run in partnership with the local community. Staff from our campus have been trained as facilitators for the SistaSpeak course. The facilitators and Aboriginal mentor work with students with the aim of increasing student engagement and retention and improve the self-esteem and confidence of Aboriginal students.
Congratulations to our fantastic students, teachers and SistaSpeak group who's entry 'Connecting to Country' won The Maliga Art Competition at The Entrance Community Center this morning. Our art will be on display in the gallery there for the next week so please go and check it out.
