NSW schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these, where available.
Write to the school if you wish to withdraw your child from special religious education, sometimes known as scripture. Special education in ethics is an option for your primary-age child if you withdraw them from special religious education. For more information, visit Religion and ethics.
Special Religious Education (SRE)
At TLSC The Entrance Campus SRE will run in Year 11 on a rotational basis through English lines equating to approximately 3 hours per term.
On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child’s enrolment in SRE should be given to the principal, in writing.
The following SRE classes are offered at TLSC The Entrance Campus:
Christian SRE delivered by EV Church Erina on behalf of the Tuggerah Lakes Christian Education Board which comprises representatives from the local Anglican, Baptist, Church of Christ Evangelical, Presbyterian, and uniting denominations.

During the time that SRE classes are being held, SRE students will be located in a separate space whilst students not attending will remain in their classrooms and will participate in meaningful activities such as private study or completing homework.
